History of 100+ Who Care
Clackamas County
The 100 Plus Who Care, Clackamas County began as a desire to have more impact in the community. In early 2023, a local Canby resident had heard about these groups from a couple of colleagues in other communities. She quickly realized that this organization is nationwide and creates impact in many areas. She also found that there appeared to be a gap in giving in Clackamas County. There were either large donations or grants being given, or smaller donations. This meant many organizations, who do amazing things, were getting overlooked because they did not have the resources to spread the word about what they offer.
Each and every dollar given through 100 Plus Who Care, Clackamas County is greatly appreciated and so very needed. This is simply another way that as a community we can come together and make a large impact.
Events are held twice a year. They are quite simple in concept, with the goal being to have 100 people, each with $100 check in hand, to donate to a non-profit selected by majority vote from the members.
